On January 13th, the College of Marxism and the College of Electronics and Information Engineering jointly held a seminar on the reform and construction of the ideological and political curriculum. Wei Dajiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Electronics and Information Engineering and Hou Jin, Vice President, Tang Zhenhua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Marxism and Qu Xiaolin, Teng Shuai, Zhu Lei, Vice Presidents, as well as representatives of the teachers and counselors of the two colleges attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Teng Shuai.

At the meeting, Tang Zhenhua stressed the importance and synergistic effect of ideological and political curriculum, and proposed to promote the reform and innovation of ideological and political curriculum and the sharing of high-quality resources. Two teachers, Chang Shanshan and Qiu Xuejun, from the College of Electronics and Information Engineering, respectively introduced the construction of engineering students’ ideological and political curriculum and the construction of curriculum ideological and political database. Professor Hou Jin and Professor Dong Jie discussed the role and construction path of the ideological and political curriculum from different perspectives, and put forward suggestions for cooperation. In the free discussion session, the teachers had in-depth exchanges on the hot and difficult issues of ideological and political curriculum reform and curriculum ideological and political construction.

In conclusion, Wei Dajiang proposed to strengthen the synergistic effect through the joint construction of exchange groups, teaching and research departments and other measures to promote professional courses and ideological and political courses in the same direction.
